Videography for events
Moving images that reveal the character of an event.
An event video tells more than the sequence of a programme. It condenses the stage, venue, voices, audience, encounters and details into a format that continues to work after the event – on websites, social networks, for internal communications or as a recap for attendees.
We coordinate video production with experienced videographers from our network. The process remains realistic: objective, format, sound, scope of filming, editing, revision rounds and budget are clarified in advance so the result matches what you actually need.
Typical video formats
- Event film or aftermovie
- Conference video and summit recap
- Social media clips in portrait or landscape format
- Interviews, statements and sound bites
- Trade fair video and product/stand communications
- Combined Photography and Video Productions

Selected event videos from different event formats
The examples reflect different requirements: conference, summit, corporate event, trade fair, summer party and combined photo/video production. Not every format requires the same production scope – what matters is what the video needs to achieve afterwards.

Photo + video in one project
Corporate anniversary with photographic coverage and highlight film
The Flick Gocke Schaumburg summer party shows how photography and video can work together at a corporate event: discreet coverage, speeches, atmosphere and a compact film for subsequent communications.
Coverage
Choosing the right type of event video
Not every event needs a large film production. A precisely planned highlight film is often sufficient, while short social clips may sometimes be more important than a longer recap. We help determine which format is realistic and fits the budget.
01
Aftermovie / highlight film
A compact recap featuring atmosphere, stage, people and the key moments.
02
Social media clips
Short landscape or portrait formats for LinkedIn, Instagram, newsletters or internal channels.
03
Interviews & Statements
Sound bites, conversations and short statements with thoughtfully planned audio recording.
04
Conference & Stage Video
Recaps of talks, panels, the audience and supporting programme – not a simple recording, but communication material.
05
Trade Fair & Product Video
The stand, conversations, products and brand presence as moving images for sales and marketing.
06
Photography & Video Team
When photography and video are both required, we coordinate the team, schedule and priorities in advance.
Planning & Budget
Video requires more planning than simply adding another camera.
Video production involves work and costs beyond the event day. Depending on the objective, this may include sound, lighting, editing, music, text overlays, subtitles, revision rounds and different output formats. We therefore clarify early whether a short social clip, an event film or a combination of photography and video is appropriate.
Realistic coordination
Before preparing the proposal, we define the objective, length, sound requirements, scope of filming, intended channels and future use. This avoids an oversized package – but also the expectation that a professional event video can be produced “on the side”.
Frequently asked questions
Event video – formats, production scope and combination with photography
The key questions when planning event videos, social clips and combined photo/video teams.
What is the difference between an aftermovie and a recording?
An aftermovie or event film condenses the event into a short communication format. A recording, by contrast, documents longer programme items in full or almost in full. These are different productions with different levels of effort.
Can photography and video be produced at the same time?
Yes, when the team and schedule are designed accordingly. Photographers and videographers then work with clearly defined responsibilities so they do not interfere with each other on site.
Why is video often more expensive than expected?
In addition to filming time, the objective may require editing, music, audio post-production, selection, coordination, revisions, export formats and rights clearance. That is why we define in advance which format is genuinely needed.
Can you produce portrait clips for social media?
Yes. Portrait format should be planned before filming so that framing, movement and key content also work vertically.
Do you only work in Berlin?
We are based in Berlin but work throughout Germany. Travel, team size and production scope are agreed in advance.
